ClearScan is a preventive health screening service. We use advanced medical imaging—including CT and MRI scans—to detect early signs of heart disease, lung cancer, and other conditions before symptoms appear. Our goal is to give you peace of mind and empower you to take control of your health.

Our services are recommended for people who: 

• Are interested in proactive, preventive health care—even without symptoms. 
• Want to better understand their current health and future risks. 
• Have risk factors such as smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes, or family history of heart or lung disease, but do not meet criteria for OHIP covered screening. 

We provide the following imaging services: 

• CT Coronary Calcium Score – Detects calcium buildup in your coronary arteries, an early marker of heart disease. 
• CT Lung Cancer Screening – Identifies small lung nodules before they cause symptoms, improving treatment outcomes. 

In addition, the following services are coming soon. 

• Whole-Body MRI – A non-invasive scan that looks for tumors, aneurysms, and other silent conditions throughout the body. 
• Body Composition & Liver Fat Quantification (MRI) – Measures fat and muscle distribution, as well as liver fat content, to evaluate metabolic health. 

• CT scans use low-dose radiation. The amount is carefully minimized and considered safe for screening purposes. 
• MRI scans do not use radiation at all—they rely on magnetic fields and radio waves. 

Our protocols follow international safety standards. 

• CT scans usually take less than 15 minutes. 
• MRI scans may take 30–60 minutes depending on the exam. 
  Your results are typically available within a few business days.
